What IS A Blog ANYWAY?

I know the word 'BLOG' is a shortened way of saying 'Web Log', but it's such a FUNNY word...

BLOG...

To me, it sounds like some Klingon character from Star Trek - Deep Space Nine or something...

"Hey, BLOG...Your DAD was not a warrior, and neither are you!
WAIT! PUT DOWN THAT BAT'LETH! AAAARG!!!"

It also sounds like something I might have cleaned up off the floor after a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show back when I was working at the movie theater.

"Oh, GREAT...Look at Johnny...He doesn't look
so well...He looks like he's gonna BLOG!"

"NEW! FROM HASBRO! BLOG! Batteries not included."

This word has the same effect on me as the word, "YOGURT"...

"It's not good...It's YOGURT!"

"Yah...I am YOGURT from the Netherlands..."

"Geez, Al...What the heck did you DO in there? It smells like YOGURT!"

Would you name your kid "Gurt" if you lived in Philly?
"YO...GURT!"
